The Old Court House

Two homes. One story.
We’re getting married on 11 November 2026, at The Old Court House on the Kuching waterfront, and we’d love you to be there. There’ll be dinner, a band, and a good deal of dancing.
We’ll register our marriage at JPN Kuching on the morning of the wedding, with our immediate families there. The evening at The Old Court House is the part you’re invited to, and it’s the part we’ve been looking forward to.
Different roots
Two families, six thousand miles apart
Jeff’s family are from Cardiff. Phoebe’s are from here. The two sides have met, got on, and are now both booking flights or clearing their calendars.

Bidayuh, from Sarawak, and the reason we’re marrying in Kuching. The woven pattern running through the site is a nod to Bidayuh weaving.

The venue
The Old Court House
Kuching, Sarawak
The Old Court House was built in 1874 and was Sarawak’s seat of government, and then its courthouse, until 1973. It sits on the Kuching waterfront, and the clock tower, the belian roof and the colonnades around the courtyard are all original.
